San Felipe

My vacation was perfect! I am usually jonesing for internet access after about 24 hours but not this time.

We left Thursday morning at about 11. An hour later than we wanted to, but that isn’t too bad. Dan was out running last minute errands while I worked and got the kids ready to go. Ian decided he was in charge and kept bossing everyone around. “Taylor, put your shoes on. Mom, are you ready to go? Molly, get in your crate” he was killing me. :rofl

The drive down was pretty uneventful. We got there mid evening but the spot was nearly impossible to park the trailer in. All told it took about 2 hours to park the damn thing. We had some dinner and a drink and went to bed. We were down there with another couple, a guy Dan works with, our across the street neighbors and their 2 sons, one son’s girlfriend and the other son’s 2 friends, then a couple with their 18 year old daughter and 20 something nephew, and another couple with their 19 year old daughter and her boyfriend.

We drank rum drinks all day Friday and then that night was tamale night. We all went over to the next camp to eat the tamales we made as a group the week before we left. Then we drank some more. Then we drank all day Saturday and Sunday… sensing a pattern here? :lol The kids had a blast at the beach and with the older kids who weren’t too old to enjoy going in the water. Saturday we went to this beach house that is owned by the parents of a boy that is coached by our neighbor’s son. Very nice and VERY relaxing.

Coming back we sat at the border for 4 hours and then got home late and got to listen to Taylor’s mother bitch about how we were late because we wanted to stay and “party” this morning. Yeah, because with packing up the RV, pulling it out and sitting waiting to cross into the US we were partying it up.

We had to park the RV without unloading it last night so we're going to do that tonight. I'll post pictures tomorrow after I get my USB cable out of there.

ETA: Pictures!!!
